Teresa M. Brand

	Teresa M. Brand, age 90, of Pinckneyville, died Wednesday, July 18, 2001 at 9:55 p.m. in the Pinckneyville Community Hospital Skilled Care Unit.
	Teresa was born on July 17, 1911 in Perry County, the daughter of Joseph J. and Elizabeth (Miller) Epplin.  She married Edward C. Brand on September 28, 1932 at St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, and he preceded her in death on September 10, 1997.  She was a homemaker, a member of St. Bruno Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters, the Blue Army, the Perry County Farm Bureau and was a faithful quilter for St. Brunos.
	Survivors include two sons, Joseph and his wife Betty and James and his wife Carol, all of Pinckneyville; son-in-law, David H. Degenhardt of Brookport, Bahamas; three daughters, Elizabeth Kellerman and her husband Al of Pinckneyville, Teresa Ann Klecker and her husband Joe of Watertown, Wis. and marguerite Spender and her husband Ronald of Pinckneyville; daughter-in-law, Barbara Giacomo of Pinckneyville; brother, Lawrence Epplin and wife Theresa of Pinckneyville; 33 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
	She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Edward J. Brand; daughter, Mary Degenhardt; grandson, Jason Spencer and three sisters, Bertha Loos, Gertrude Rheinecker and Martha Stern.
	Friends called at St. Bruno Catholic Church on Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. until services.  The Rosary was said at the church on Saturday at 8:45 a.m.
	Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 21 at 9:30 a.m. in St. Bruno Catholic Church with Fr. John Venegoni officiating.  Interment was in St. Bruno Catholic Cemetery.
	Memorials may be made to Hospice of Perry County or St. Bruno School Endowment Fund.
	Arrangements were by Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville.
